About DOT Physical Map
One question, answered properly: where can you get a DOT physical, from someone who is actually allowed to give you one. Search a map app and you get clinics. Some of them employ a certified medical examiner and some do not, and the listing will not tell you which. This site only lists the ones that do.
Where the data comes from
Every location here is derived from the FMCSA National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners, the federal list of clinicians authorized to perform DOT physicals and issue the medical examiner's certificate. We group examiners by their listed practice address, clean up the address formatting, and publish one page per location with the certified examiners who work there.
What each listing tells you
- Who is certified at that address
- Their credential: MD, DO, NP, PA, APRN, DC
- How many examiners are on site
- Street address and phone number
- Clinic type: walk-in, occupational health, chiropractic, practice
- County and map location
What we deliberately do not publish
Hours and prices. The National Registry does not publish either one, and guessing at them would send drivers to locked doors. Every listing tells you to call first, and the guides tell you exactly what to ask. If a directory shows you confident hours for a small clinic's DOT exam window, be skeptical.
How current it is
Certifications lapse and examiners move. We re-pull the registry regularly and update rosters, so a location that stops appearing in the federal list stops appearing here. If you find something out of date, tell us.
