DOT Physicals at Advanced Urgent Care And Occupational Medicine

2801 Purcell St, Brighton, CO 80601 · Adams County

Call before you drive out. The National Registry lists who is certified, not when they work. Hours, walk-in policy and the exam price are set by the clinic, and DOT exams are often limited to certain days.

What to expect here

Walk-in or same-day appointments, evening and weekend hours are common, and DOT exams are routine business here.

The certified examiners here include advanced practice registered nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Any of them can perform the exam and issue your medical certificate. FMCSA does not require a physician.

What to bring

  • Photo ID and your CDL, or your permit if you do not have the license yet.
  • A list of every medication you take, with doses and the prescribing doctor.
  • Glasses, contacts or hearing aids if you use them. Bring them, do not just mention them.
  • If you have sleep apnea, your CPAP compliance report. If you are diabetic, your recent A1C and a blood-sugar log.
  • If you have a heart condition, a stent or a pacemaker, bring the clearance letter from your cardiologist. Without it you will be sent home to get one.
